I had considered paying for the rental car agency's navigation system, but it would have been considerably more than the $70 I paid for this map set. The chip is easy to use with our Garmin Nuvi; simply insert it, turn on the GPS, select Germany for country and you are off and running. We found the maps to be very accurate. We kept our system in miles, as it made for a better frame of reference, but you could change it to Kilometers if required. The navigation system came in handy when we had to navigate around a "Stau" (German word for traffic jam) on the Autobahn. The Navigation system helped maneuver through the German country side and on to an alternative route. We will definitely use this map set again when we travel to Germany in the future.
